  Greg Barton began his love of boats in his early teens and apprenticeship in Tulsa, Oklahoma with Dave Thomas and later then with Stan Smoke. in 1976.

 He then became employed at Tulsa Sail Craft  working his way up to Service Manager. By 1989 Greg opened Marine Services Of Oklahoma and successfully built his career and business until selling the business to S&K Yacht Services (his largest client) in 1998 and remained with them until moving to Knoxville in 1999 to explore the Marina Management field, then established Marine Services Of Knoxville in 2004.
